DTP-HepB-Hib Vaccine (DTP-HepB-Hib)
Composition and Form:
- DTP-HepB-Hib Vaccine contains components for the prevention of diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type b infections.
- Injection Suspension - 0.5 ml/dose
Indications:
- Prevention of diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, and invasive infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b.
Age Recommendations and Vaccination Schedule:
- First Dose: Recommended for children starting at 2 months of age.
- Subsequent Doses: Typically administered in three or four doses at intervals of 4-8 weeks.
- Booster Dose: Given at 18 months of age or according to the national immunization schedule.
Administration Method:
- The vaccine is administered intramuscularly.
- For infants under 2 years old, it is recommended to inject the vaccine into the anterolateral thigh.
- For older children, the vaccine is injected into the deltoid muscle of the arm.
Contraindications:
- Allergic reactions to previous vaccination with this vaccine.
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine.
- Progressive neurological disorders.
- Severe reactions to previous vaccinations containing the pertussis component.
