Indications:
  • Prevention of diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, and invasive infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b.
Age Recommendations and Vaccination Schedule:
  • First Dose: Recommended for children starting at 2 months of age.
  • Subsequent Doses: Typically administered in three or four doses at intervals of 4-8 weeks.
  • Booster Dose: Given at 18 months of age or according to the national immunization schedule.
Administration Method:
  • The vaccine is administered intramuscularly.
  • For infants under 2 years old, it is recommended to inject the vaccine into the anterolateral thigh.
  • For older children, the vaccine is injected into the deltoid muscle of the arm.
Contraindications:
  • Allergic reactions to previous vaccination with this vaccine.
  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine.
  • Progressive neurological disorders.
  • Severe reactions to previous vaccinations containing the pertussis component.
