Influvac Vaccine
Composition and Form:
- Influvac Vaccine contains inactivated influenza viruses, including strains for seasonal prevention.
- Injection Suspension - 0.5 ml/dose
Indications:
- Prevention of influenza caused by strains of the influenza virus included in the vaccine.
Age Recommendations and Vaccination Schedule:
- First Dose: Recommended for individuals over 6 months of age.
- Subsequent Doses: Typically, a single dose is administered at the beginning of the flu season (fall).
Administration Method:
- The vaccine is administered intramuscularly.
- For adults and children over 3 years old, the vaccine is injected into the deltoid muscle of the arm.
- For infants and young children, the vaccine is injected into the anterolateral thigh.
Contraindications:
- Allergic reactions to vaccine components, including egg protein.
- Acute infectious or non-infectious diseases (vaccination is carried out after recovery or during remission of chronic diseases).
