OLVAXTAR-HAV
Vaccination against Hepatitis A (on human diploid cells), inactivated.
Composition and release form:
- OLVAXTAR-HAV - inactivated antigen of Hepatitis A virus - 250 TB
- Suspension for intramuscular administration - 0.5 ml/dose.
Indications:
- Prevention of Hepatitis A
Age recommendations and vaccination schedule:
- as part of routine vaccination, all children are given one dose from 12 months of age and older;
- hepatitis A vaccine is recommended for older children and adolescents who have not previously been vaccinated;
- unvaccinated adults who want protection against hepatitis A can also get the vaccine.
Method of administration:
- The vaccine is administered in a single dose of 0.5 ml, intramuscularly into the deltoid muscle of the shoulder.
Contraindications:
- history of allergic reactions to excipients, also to gentamicin sulfate and formaldehyde;
- infectious or non-infectious diseases during exacerbation. Vaccination is carried out after recovery or during remission.
Before vaccination, be sure to undergo an examination by a pediatrician.
